Prayer without belief is a waste of time. Faith without prayer is a waste of power. Even as I pray this morning, I will align my faith to believe that God hears me and will answer me out of His great love and mercy.

God cares about specifics. How can I doubt that fact when I look at the intricate detail of all His creation? And when I pray and ask specifically, it gives glory and honor to this attribute of who He is. And when I don't pray this way, and just mumble through rote and duty, I'm basically saying to Him that He doesn't care and I don't believe in His provision. His promises are as true and faithful as He is. I will trust in Him. And I will put that trust in my prayers.

The power of God is unlike that which we are used too. This is a call for me to have great faith in the prayers I give to God. That they wouldn't just be words but they would be declarations of great faith. Because the God of heaven hears and promises to answer our prayers.

Whose reality is more real? Mine or God's? Is what I see able to be counted on... or is what GOD sees more reliable? Today I choose to live God's reality and to believe what HE wants to happen will happen. I simply trust.
